The Arab Tourism Market (ATM) has signed an agreement with IHG Hotels and Resorts to become the official hotel partner of ATM 2023.
Next year’s edition of the annual trade show that brings together hospitality, aviation and tourism bodies from around the world will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from May 1-4.
As part of the agreement, IHG will officially welcome nearly 200 international media and key industry customers from the UK, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Israel, Turkey, India, GCC, USA, Egypt, and South Africa.
“The Arabian travel market is committed to the Middle East, home to some of the most ambitious and exciting developments in the world. This partnership with IHG offers an ideal opportunity to bring together one of the region’s leading hotel groups with our unrivaled event platform.
“Formal hotel partnerships are essential to the continued success of the Arabian Travel Market, and the correlation between attracting quality buyers and providing a quality hotel experience has been a key factor in creating interest and ensuring the presence of key tourism professionals in the tourism industry, “says Danielle Curtis, exhibition director at the ATM.
The new agreement will allow IHG to continue showcasing its Intercontinental-branded properties in Dubai, Voco Hotels, Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts, and Hotel Indigo, and even host the coveted official ATM Party.
“We are delighted to extend our long-term relationship with RX as a hotel partner for Arabian Travel Market 2023. As a regular global exhibitor at RX, we have a wealth of experience. They attend and are interested in many of their trade shows globally, especially at ATM. “The show’s success is especially evident in 2022, when the world resumes face-to-face, building strong personal networks and long-term business relationships,” said Haitham Mattar, IHG Regional General Manager IMEA.
The 2022 edition of the ATM held in May this year, attracted more than 23,000 visitors. The four-day event doubles the number of visitors from last year, brings together 1,500 exhibitors, and welcomes participants from 150 countries.
The theme for next year’s ATM is “Towards Net Zero,” and RX (Reed Exhibitions), the organizer of the ATM, will celebrate the 30th edition of the annual event by announcing its dedicated commitment to sustainability.
“We are particularly committed to the show’s theme of ‘Towards Net Zero’ as it aligns with IHG’s’ Journey to Tomorrow ‘-our ten-year program of responsible business focus on people, the planet, and our community,” IHG added.
