In flight mode, the vehicle’s six-rotor wings open, allowing the vehicle to take off either vertically or perform conventional runway takeoffs. The large wing is optimized for gliding, smooth landings, and efficient power consumption, and each tilting rotor is used to steer the vehicle.

Two models for takeoff

This means that ASKA can be launched in two ways: one is via vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) from a compact space such as a heliport. Another option is a conventional runway takeoff and landing, which can improve the vehicle’s energy consumption.
